How does the booking process work?

The booking process is simple and straightforward:

1. Request a Quote: Submit your details and the property address through our online form or contact us directly.

2. Quote Review: We carefully assess the property before providing you with a tailored quote, usually within 24 hours.

3. Confirmation: Once you’re happy with the quote, we’ll send you our e-terms to sign and an invoice for payment.

4. We Handle the Rest: After that, we take care of everything, from arranging access to delivering the final report.

We pride ourselves on offering a fast, efficient, and customer-focussed process, making your experience with us smooth and hassle-free.

When should I book a survey?

You should book a survey as soon as your offer on a property has been accepted. This allows plenty of time to arrange the survey, receive the report, and make any necessary decisions before exchanging contracts.

How long will the survey take?

The survey itself typically takes around 2 hours at the property. After that, we take 3-5 days to thoroughly review our findings and compile the report.

How do I make payment?

For bank transfers, we will provide you with our account details upon booking. Please ensure you include your reference number when making the payment to help us track it efficiently.

If you prefer to pay by cheque, please make it payable to Lifely Surveyors ltd and send it to our office address.

Do I need to arrange the survey?

No, you don’t need to arrange the survey yourself.

Once you’ve booked the survey with us, we handle everything from there. We will contact the estate agent or vendor directly to arrange access to the property, ensuring a hassle-free process for you.

You can relax knowing that we take care of all the arrangements, and you’ll receive the completed report once it’s ready.

I needed a structural survey to report on a particular problem. A search of the RICS website listed Lifelys as providing structural reports.
Lifelys suggested a single defect report would be appropriate for my needs, and were able to schedule a visit within two weeks.
I found the surveyor was knowledgeable, thorough and was willing to discuss his initial findings on site. The detailed report was available a few days after the survey.
Altogether, I found Lifelys provided a very efficient and professional service with good communication.
