How it works

Getting a structural inspection should be simple. You tell us what's concerning you, we send a fixed quote, and you get a clear report within 24 hours of the inspection. No site visits to price the job, no hourly rates, no surprises.

Step 1 — Tell us what's concerning you

Fill in the enquiry form. Three things usually cover it: what's concerning you, where on the property it is, and the address.

If you have any previous reports, forward them over. Anything else can wait until I'm at the property.

Prefer to talk it through? Call and we'll fill the form in with you.

5 minutes

Step 2 — We send you a fixed quote

We'll recommend the right report for your situation and give you one fixed fee. That fee covers the inspection, the report and the photographs. There are no hidden extras.

Quote within 1 working day

Step 3 — You sign, we book the date

Accept the quote by signing the terms of engagement online. It takes a minute. Your invoice arrives automatically, and we confirm your inspection date the same day.

Typically booked the same day

Step 4 — The inspection

We'll arrange access directly with you, the agent or the occupier, so you don't have to coordinate anything. The inspection itself typically takes around two hours, depending on the property.

Usually 1–2 weeks away, about 2 hours on site

Step 5 — Your report

Your report arrives by email within 24 hours of the inspection. It sets out what we saw, what's causing it, and what we recommend you do next, in plain language you can pass straight to a solicitor, lender, insurer or builder.

Within 24 hours

What do we need from you?

Two things, and neither takes long:

1. What you'd like us to look at: a short description of the crack, the movement or the concern. Or, if the inspection has been asked for by someone else, tell us who and why. For example: "our surveyor's Level 2 report recommended a structural engineer to inspect the cracking to the extension" or "our lender has asked for a structural engineer to report on the roof structure before they will approve our mortgage."

2. How we get in Who holds the keys, who to call to arrange access, and anything we should know about the property before we arrive. Dogs, access difficulties, tenants, difficult parking, all useful.

Rapid Quoting

Fast Quoting,
No-Obligation

Tell us what you're concerned about and we'll come back with a clear quote, no jargon, no pressure, no obligation. You'll know the cost and what's included before you commit to anything.

Quick Turnaround

24-Hour
Reports

Once the inspection's done, you're not left waiting. You'll have your full written report within 24 hours, so you can make a decision and move on, whether that's reassurance or next steps.

You deal directly with me, a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MICE), from quote to inspection to report. No handoffs, no junior inspector standing in.

Balanced Reporting

Plain-Language Reports

No dense technical jargon you need a second opinion to understand. Every report tells you plainly what's causing the problem, how serious it is, and what, if anything, you need to do next.
